A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents, Students and Friends of Creekside,

952012_23405_2.jpgThe school year is in good stride. Classes, clubs and teams are progressing very well!  We enjoyed seeing you at Open House. I trust your student is “plugged-in” and thriving. As you are aware, your kids are being challenged with the rigor of Common Core standards.

In order to compete, our students must be able to think critically. We believe that “yesterday’s answers won’t solve today’s problems.” Therefore, we are guiding our students along college and career pathways that require them to “stretch” a little.

952012_23653_4.jpgWe are rapidly approaching the part of the year that senior students begin to feel the push-n-pull of College Admissions. I invite you to contact our Guidance office to assist your efforts.

Are you aware that Creekside HS continues to grow and prosper? We take pride in making a connection to every student, every day.

In closing, I leave you with a quote from President Calvin Coolidge:
“Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”

Let’s be a blessing to others,

Sincerely,

J. Randy Johnson
Principal
